The Ndino Community Knowledge Organization (NCKO), is a non-profitable organization that was establish on the 14th of February 2015 in Otjiwarongo as Educational Development Organization. it was a collection of different issues natively affecting the development rate in Namibia that gave birth to Ndino Community Knowledge Organization. It seems to be difficult for Namibia to develop due to the following issues:
The low passing rate and poor performance of state school in Namibia.
The increasing number of unemployed and out of school youth in Namibia.
The high number of youth involve in crimes and alcohol & drug abuse.
The health problems The effect of HIV & AIDS to development.
The question was ‘’WHO HAVE TO RECTIFY THIS PROBLEMS?’’ John F Kennedy ones said “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country”. Ndino Community Knowledge org is there to use any resources at our disposal to fight poverty and to improve the passing rate in all state schools in our region. We already started off with extra-classes for grade 7 to 9 students and want to increase till to grade 10 by next year. So we have establish an organization that will address this development hazards that incapable this beautiful Land of The Brave (Namibia) to develop by implementing programs like:
Education for development, were the organization will voluntary avail its self to assist students from grade 7 to grade 10 mostly focusing on English, Mathematics, Physical science at willing schools.
Out-of-school youth basic computer and entrepreneurial skills classes, that will be provided for free.
Nationhood and pride to Namibia, we are going to have local cabins on Nationhood and pride and call for professionals to come and address the community on the issue.
Reaching the community, this program will mobilize different helpful and necessary information into the community.
Community projects, the organization is going to come up with different projects that will provide employment to the community.
What to do after school, this program will motivate and shape grade 10 and 12 failures into universities and colleges.
Stop Point for HIV & AIDS, this program will be open to everyone from the community where we will have some professional doctor and councillors for information and at school level we are going to have a life skills period at every school. We are motivated, hardworking and creative body that strive to achieve all of these goals before the Vision 2030.
