The Wilken Group of Companies was founded in Kenya in 1962.
In the 1970s, the company was divided into two: Wilken Air and Wilken Telecommunications.
Wilken Air was sold, and Wilken Telecommunications continued to operate as a licensed supplier of telecommunications equipment.
Wilken Telecommunications went on to thrive in the telecommunications sector in Kenya, providing the first satellite earth station into Kenya, among many achievements. By the 1980's Wilken had established agencies in a wide range of products, selling telecommunications equipment into the East African market.
Today, Wilken has flourished and grown into the Wilken Group of companies, and continues to provide a wide range of solutions across the business landscape
