Raw materials are found from soapstone called the Kisii Soapstone. The stone is found within the area where the organization is situated at "Tabaka" Kisii – Kenya. It is quarried from underground by using creators and other simple tools. The organization mission is poverty eradication for disadvantaged producers. While their vision is to improve on their creativity and quality for long term markets. The artisans are organized in such a way such that when an order is found for the carvings, it's shared equally among the artisans, but according to the values of work done by the group. Products are sold locally and some exported to some of the overseas customers. The expected impact of the group is to improve the standards of living and products as well as the improvement of product design which will create some new markets. And in turn improve sanitation, shelter, and health care, of the producers.
