We run a small hotel, labelled by Eco Tourism Kenya with a Silver Rating.  We offer Bed and Breakfast and healthy meals from organically produced locally grown foods.  Our aim is to step as carefully as we can while managing our hotel. We work on reducing the use of plastic bags in Lamu. Our power consumption is kept extremely low and the water use is equally minimised. All toilets are either Eco San style where you reuse the human waste or they are traditional Lamu non water pit latrines with a pretty design. All garbage is separated and organic is being composted on the shamba. We have no swimming pool.
