Pimbi Art gallery is an indigenous art gallery that was started by Kenyan junk-metal artist Kioko Mwitiki, in 1997. He is one of the most renowned sculptors in E.Africa. A pioneer of junk art or recycled scrap metal and is best known for his huge life-size sculptures. Pimbi Art gallery is the home of metal art and has been at the fore-front of conserving the environment through education, recycling junk metal and articulating conservation issues through art.
