Kenya Agency to Development of Enterprise and Technology
Microfinance subsidiary of World Vision Kenya. KADET (the Kenya Agency for the Development of Enterprise and Technology) is a micro-finance institution and a liability limited company that was established by World Vision Kenya in 2000, to economically empower Kenyan communities that have limited/no access to credit facilities for small and micro businesses. Looking back, KADET has been able to steadily develop a dominant niche as a rural financier while building a portfolio that demonstrates that rural finance is a possible venture. The number of children and families that have benefited from Kadet loans has been part of our motivation to further develop products that not only meet customer needs, but products that educate, encourage and eventually empowers our customers financially.
