FORMAT is registered in Kenya under The Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act of 1990 as OP.218/051/2003/066/2607. It is a charitable, educational and scientific organization and exclusively Non-political and Non-profit making. Goal To secure livelihoods for resource poor farmers and innovators through improved resource management, technology development, policy advocacy and networking. Purpose To improve knowledge sharing and co-ordination amongst stakeholders in natural and organic resource management, agricultural technology development and policy.
