With adminitrative offices in London and DC, Exit Poverty is development charity with chapters in Kenya, Ghana, DRC, Liberia& South Sudan. Combining its grass-top precences in North with grassroots presence in Africa, Exit Poverty seeks to raise its influence in support of building development opportunities for the poor in Africa. It works with global citizens, corporations and governments in providing opportunities for marginalised in Africa to move up and out of poverty Poverty, for Exit Poverty, is a matter of missed opportunities. We believe that alleviating poverty is possible, but only when the poor are given both the opportunities to build their enterprises and the power to determine their destiny.   Our work focuses on 3 key areas that we believe will have the biggest impact on poverty alleviation:   1. Enterprises We enhance enterprises by offering training and offer loan program in partnership with our supporters and MFI'S. We also work with corporate in offer technical assistance, loan guarantees and access to market 2. Advocacy We organises, educates and mobilises poor people to engage with their policy makers. Exit Poverty has an effective campaign from our combination of grassroots and grass-tops advocacy. 3. Inspiration Working with our supporters, we explore and share through media the breakthrough that business people, artists and policy makers have made. This inspiration motivates low income people to take action.
