Agricultural Production (Potatoes, Rice, Maize): Ishaka is a nonprofit based in Karusi Province that provides access to technical support to 12 farmer associations and serves as a better channel through which members can access quality seeds, improved farming techniques and a better market for their products. Project funds will be used to purchase a hulling machine and a solar power system, build a stor-age shed, strengthen its financial and administrative management and develop a strategic plan that will make Ishaka a more viable, independent and sustainable institution.
