The Khwai Development Trust has recently refurbished Tsaro Lodge in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) with the intention of operating it through a joint venture partnership. Tsaro Lodge is located along Khwai River and it is owned by the Trust. The opening of the lodge is intended to generate funds for the Trust and also to create employment for the villagers of Khwai village
