The Nhabe Museum is one of Botswana's best kept secrets. A 2 hour drive from the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve, it is situated in a British colonial building that dates back to World War 2. The museum has a collection of wildlife exhibits and cultural artefacts that depict the rich cultural diversity of this region. Other exhibitions include photography, fine art, written word and poetry. The grounds have a good selection of indigenous plants and trees and there is a craft shop that sells candles, paintings and crafts made by the locals.
