The traditional rondawel huts and campsites all use the central ablution facility (hot showers, flush toilets in open air reed constructions) which uses solar power to heat water and provide lighting for both the ablutions and the restaurant. One of these toilets is a recycling water toilet and has been working very well ever since it was installed. The water for the campsites is pumped from a sealed borehole by solar power and is safe to drink direct from the tap.
