Zimbabwe Women's Resource Centre & Network (ZWRCN)
Established in 1990, Zimbabwe Women Resource Centre and Network (ZWRCN) is an information based organization with a focus on building knowledge and promoting gender equality and womens rights at all levels. It does this through collection, analysis, processing and dissemination of information. Vision To see women enjoying the benefits of actualizing their full potential in all areas of their lives. Mission To enable women to make informed decisions about key aspects of their lives and act accordingly. Core Values ZWRCN's work is underpinned by feminist ideology and practice. This means a focus on: Women's rights, Challenging gender inequality, Challenging all forms of oppression, with a focus on women empowerment. ZWRCN's primary target is women at different levels and stages of their life cycle. In order to support women to achieve their highest potential, ZWRCN works closely with policy makers, programme planners and implementers, funding partners, media institutions, peers in the womens movements and other human rights organizations.
