Zimbabwe OIC was founded to promote entrepreneurship leadership development and microenterprise training to the marginal groups through the development of accessible and community driven training materials and people-focused enterprise training sessions. ZOIC seeks to support the idea of youth self-employment and community employment creation throughout Zimbabwe. Since inception, ZOIC has made significant progress in pursuance of its mission and objectives expressed as to: Reduce poverty through employment creation and training of entrepreneurs to start and run their business. Develop ZOIC?s micro-entrepreneurship training programme. Improve business management skills of the Informal Sector Operators (ISO). Develop training material, curricula and methodology for entrepreneurship training and business development support in collaboration with OICI and selected local microfinance partners. Strengthen the capacity of microfinance NGOs and institutions dedicated to the promotion and support of entrepreneurship development. Network for institutional support and resource mobilisation.
