The HEAL Project was started in 1999 and is based in Lusaka, Zambia. We are a group of people living with HIV/AIDS who are working together to help ourselves and others to a better life, including many orphans. We support income generation schemes and a community centre and school for children whose parents have passed away, or who are sick. Our activities include arts and crafts, trading and gardening. Project members undertake AIDS and TB education and awareness activities. We produce a variety of arts and crafts for sale to provide money for our activities. We make handmade, badges, Christmas cards and can sew clothes or curtains to order. We also have postcards for sale.
