Supplying water to rural communities, schools and hospitals is the main objective of TGS Water. TGS Water drills deep and shallow boreholes, constructs protected springs and small piped water supply systems, rehabilitates existing boreholes and carries out pumping tests to assess optimum yields of boreholes. TGS Water is a co-operation of the 4 shareholders of the company: The Good Shepherd Foundation, established in the Netherlands in 1999, has been involved in rural development projects in Uganda and India. The Good Shepherd is active in fundraising in the Netherlands.
