EnviroConserve AFRICA is an environmental engineering and conservation management magazine circulated in East Africa. The magazine was established seven years ago to promote sustainable development, in response to the, 'Brundtland Report', of 1987, also known as 'Our Common Future', which defined sustainable development as forms of progress that meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The magazine disseminates environmental information and promotes awareness, in order to mainstream environmental issues into the public, private and civil society sectors. The magazine also aims to shape opinion, refocus leaders and policy makers on all matters related to sustainable development and conservation of the global environment.
