Natural forest conservation center (NAFCO) is a self help based group that joined together for the purpose of alleviating poverty in our community. The group was established in 2001 by 32 members, where by 11 are women and 21 are men, and recently we has 190 members. The group now it seeking registration to the vice presidents office and it is working accordance with its governing constitution.
These are some of our aims
A)To undertaking farming activities.
B) To train youths of both sexes in motor mechanics,sewing,carpentry and other handcrafts activities especially venerable people.
C) To undertake environmental conservation through preparation of trees and nurseries of different species of trees.
D) To undertake the transformation of normal village into Eco-villages that will increase the adaption of climate change in our community.
E)To empower vulnerable community members(especially women and elders)to cope with the most damaging consequence of climate change.
F)To reduce costs of obtaining source of energy that noticed to the community eg, purchasing of firewood and charcoal.
