The Architecture Co-op was set up in 1993. As an architectural practice we strive to deliver vital, sustainable, integrated and appropriate design to all projects.
 
Our goal is to provide innovative environmentally responsive solutions which 'touch the earth lightly' and minimize use of resources. Identifying a strong strategic project vision, integrating diverse aspects, and creating unique solutions to each project are central to our approach. We promote passive design principles which maximize use of natural systems, local, sustainable non toxic materials, recycling, whilst minimising use of energy, water and resources.
 
Focus on eco tourism and wilderness projects for private & corporate clients, NGO's & government is balanced by works in urban areas for commercial, retail, residential, restoration & community projects.
 
Broad spectrum experience incorporates urban, ecological development planning, architectural, landscape, interior and product design projects. A strong network of professional and specialist collaborators enable iterative & integrated solutions.
