Sustainable Villages Africa (Pty) Ltd (Hereafter SVA) is a project and process management concern that describes itself as a sustainable livelihoods implementation practitioner organisation. For this reason we form alliances and joint venture partnerships with various professional concerns that specialise in relevant feasibility and implementation fields. The arena of operations is primarily rural areas and mining villages, but urban and peri-urban projects are not excluded, especially in the current and growing wave of global consciousness of the adverse environmental impact of poorly planned cities. A sustainable village is one that can use the natural resources in an area to create enough energy, without damage to the environment, to enable enterprises such as agriculture and industry to flourish, thereby creating personal income through employment, to raise the living standards of all.
