Matzikama (San for "place of water"), the 10-hectare property bought in 1994 by the Coetzees and planted with shiraz and cabernet. We have taken great care to keep the whole operation as environment friendly as possible - labels are screen printed onto the bottles to avoid using paper while natural cork from tree bark is used to seal bottles instead of non-biodegradable fossil fuel plastics, which has become so popular today.
