The Environmental Policy of Holcim South Africa is based on the recognition that: Our Actions Today Mould the Future. Holcim endorses the universal right of present and future generations to an environment that is not harmful to human health or well-being. We believe the best mechanism to promote this right is through the process of Sustainable Development within the framework of the principles of Integrated Environmental Management. The Holcim Environmental Policy, first published in 1994, has been revised six times so as to reflect the commitment of Holcim to the South African Constitution and to our goal of continual environmental performance improvement.
