EASD is a private non-profit corporation working to promote environmentally sustainable development in Africa and globally. It provides information products, training and facilitation services and conducts projects in support of sustainable development in Africa and globally. Our focus areas are: state of the environment reporting, regional and national environmental strategies and programmes, development of environmental information and knowledge management systems, technology for sustainable development, project and programme evaluation and organisational development (design of environmental organisations), Poverty alleviation and sustainable development models and process facilitation.
