We are an organic farm situated on the edge of Pietermaritzburg, in KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa. We grow mainly herbs and lettuce varieties for the retail and wholesale markets. All our produce is organically grown. Chickens are to be raised organically and a small dairy herd ls on the cards.
 
 
 
Our aim is to create an organic, sustainable farm in which all components, animal, plant and mineral work together synergistically. At present our main focus is on production of salad packs and fresh herbs for the retail and catering sectors. We will also produce pre packed swiss chard and other specialist vegetables.
 
We are committed to the principle of land stewardship and our aim is to blend in the productive agricultural portion of the farm with the wild grasslands and forest. To do this we intend setting up an arboretum on an area that was cleared forest. This arboretum will seek to reflect the trees and shrubs of the KwaZulu-Natal region. We will manage the arboretum organically.
