Solar Heating, environmental care and community involvement are the focus of our efforts in running the guesthouse.
Solar heating is used for outdoor pool and lodge water supply. We work actively to eradicate alien plant species that endanger the fynbos. We organise complimentary activities for under privileged children, including a basic meal and wildlife experiences. 95% of our staff is employed from the local areas. We breed endangered species and offer a sanctuary for four lions that would otherwise have been killed. We have bred the dormant Black Impala gene and this near extinct Impala now adorns our game reserve.
