The Association will be committed to improve the welfare, development and education of children under statutory schoolage through: Encourage parents to understand and provide for needs of their children through pre-schooling in Day Care Centres. Develop working relationships with parents, Ministries, Organisations both locally, regionally and internationally, with regard to the development of pre-school services. Organise seminars, conferences, run training courses and quality assurance seminars for members to help them improve quality oftheir services. Develop a Code of Practice. Committed to improve and promote the welfare and education of young children from birth to schooling age. Assist in the promotion of good adult/child relations and establishment of necessary workshop. Provide training to all engaged in the task providing skills and activities to young, pre-school children. Work to ensure that high standards are maintained in the administration, building and staff of Day Care Centres. Give advice on aspects of child-development and child-care and disseminate information through sale of leaflets.
