Rwanda Flowers Producers and Exporters Federation (RFPEF in acronyms) is currently composed of 57 member co-operatives, with more than 600 flower producers throughout the country. The RFPEF is an association of Cooperative Unions in Rwanda, a legally-registered commercial organization whose objective is to diversify the agricultural export products. It undertakes work on all the entire national territory to support potential flower producers. It assigned itself to assist member cooperatives to increase the production of flowers, the diversification of the flower growing sector and the production of high quality flowers required on the local and international market. It contributes to the promotion of the flower growing sector as it is stipulated in its statute, by mobilizing the flower producing cooperatives and by assisting them to rationally valorise their plantations. Its role is aimed to the organizing of its producers, facilitating to access inputs and marketing their flowers.
