Radio Lifeline provides agricultural communities in East Africa with access to vital information via solar/crank-powered radios and weekly radio broadcasts that are designed to meet their individual needs. Broadcasts feature current agricultural best practices as well as information related to cooperative development and sustainability, early childhood and maternal health, HIV/AIDS education, nutrition and environmental stewardship practices.
We currently work within the coffee and pyrethrum farming sectors in Rwanda and will soon expand into both Tanzania and Kenya, creating broadcast linkages that will connect these disparate and remote farming communities.
