Giribambe is a humanitarian organization founded in 1995, in the aftermath of the genocide in Rwanda, Rwandan survivors are nationals and citizens, with the aim of giving a hand to those who were worse than they are, when they themselves, the "founders" had lost everything, family, friends and all good material. Since then Giribambe, which literally means "you have an open heart, " has shown, thanks to the absolute dedication of volunteer members and the support of friends outside, that true solidarity does wonders. Giribambe found hundreds of housing for the homeless, has been taken from poor families more than a thousand Rwandan orphans, and has built many houses for widows and single mothers with no possibility of income, but with children (and their adducts), has distributed and distributes daily basic necessities. It also supported, including financially, the education of many children and has organized several vocational courses to provide an opportunity for young people excluded from the labor market.
