Duterimbere is a non-profit organization that provides credit, loans, and business training to women throughout Rwanda. Duterimbere started a project to support foster mothers, who have extended themselves to care for orphaned children as well as for their own. This project, called Umuryango (family), provides scholarships that enables these children to attend school. Duterimbere's board, staff, and members include women of both Tutsi and Hutu ethnicities. They are working together for the good of all.
