Action Technique pour un Developpement Communautaire (ATEDEC) is a community based organization pursuing the goal of improving the lives of rural communities through rural devevelopment initiatives across Rwanda. This is based on recognition of the fact that without development, peace is not sustainable. Objective: The key objective of Action Technique pour un Developpement Communautaire (ATEDEC) is to improve the quality of life of rural villagers, by providing housing, and improved domestic water supply, sanitation and associated hygiene practices. ATEDEC also aims to provide education for the undeprivileged groups in Rwanda and the Great Lakes region. Comments: Activities of Action Technique pour un Developpement Communautaire (ATEDEC) are geared towards rural development and involve communities participation in projects such as housing, water supply, sanitation buidling of education infrastructure.
