Akilah Adventures is a student-run company that provides a variety of exciting customized tours. Akilah students develop unique itineraries that give not only a view of Rwanda's standard attractions – gorillas, Akagera Park, Lake Kivu – but also a genuine exploration of Rwanda as it used to be, is today, and aims to become in the future.

All Adventures administration, itinerary planning, and tour guiding is done by students of the Akilah Institute for Women, giving them critical on-the-job training that will help them lead Rwanda's tourism and hospitality industry. City Tours – See Kigali's vibrant side! Stops may include Nyamirambo, a vibrant, populous section of the city, the Parliament, and the late President Habyarimana's house, including the remains of the president's plane, which was shot down on the night the 1994 genocide began. Tours can be adapted according to your interest.
