FairMatch Support (FMS) is a Dutch organization that was established as a non profit organization in 2007 in response to the growing demand by western consumers for sustainably produced/organic and fair traded produce. Inspite of this growing market, it was noted that small producers were not benefiting from selling to this market. Hence the establishment of FMS to create market linkages between western companies and consumers and the producers in developing countries. So far such links have been created with producers in West and East Africa and Vietnam cashew nut producers for example. FMS plans to include cashewnut producers in Mozambique.
