Activities in Lesotho : Send volunteers to work with development projects around Lesotho in Work Camps: 15 to 20 young people live and work with the community Each camp lasts 3 weeks Camps are in June, July, December and January 15 camps are held per year Transportation is provided by the Lesotho Work Camps Association A professional supervisor from either the community or work camps Community provides building materials, accomodation, security, and entertainment
Other Activites: Sponsor 3 Volunteers who are OVC with school fees, lodging, work clothes at Liphiring Skills Training Centre in Mohale's Hoek Help International Groups with projects in Lesotho Youth are sent for International Exchange 1 to 2 times a year. Future Plans: Changing focus to integrated projects working to address many issues, for example: addressing HIV, OVC, food production, and access to education Follow-up with students to ensure livelihoods instead of just working on only one project
